Vicedomini Softworks was founded on a simple premise: Great software isn't just about code.
It's about the people who use it and the businesses that rely on it.
It started with a frustration. For over a decade, Sofia Vicedomini worked as a lead engineer for companies across Europe. She saw the same pattern everywhere: agencies overpromising, underdelivering, and handing over "spaghetti code" that was impossible to maintain. Clients were treated as tickets, not partners.
In 2025, Sofia decided to change the standard. She founded Vicedomini Softworks to be the antidote to the "churn and burn" agency model. We are a boutique software studio where engineering excellence meets genuine human care.
We don't want to be the biggest agency in the world. We want to be the last technical partner you ever need to hire.
Our Philosphy
We believe that technical debt is actually human debt—it happens when developers stop caring about the future of the product. Here is how we do things differently:
We refuse to cut corners just to make a quick sale. If a feature isn't sustainable, we will tell you.
We believe the web must be open to everyone. Accessibility (WCAG) is baked into our process from the first wireframe, not added as an afterthought.
You talk to the engineers building your product. No account managers hiding the truth. No "black box" invoices.
Meet the Founder
Sofia has been writing code since she was 12 years old. A veteran Full-Stack Engineer and advocate for diversity in tech, she has spent her career building complex systems for international markets (EU, UK, US).
She isn't just a coder; she is a teacher and a mentor who believes technology should empower people, not confuse them. When she isn't architecting cloud solutions, she is likely teaching the next generation of developers or exploring the intersection of AI and human creativity.
